Dahlonega, Blue Ridge & Helen offer a wide variety of shopping. In Dahlonega, stroll the brick walks of the town square in the historic district, where unique shops and galleries beckon you inside the old buildings.

Main Street Blue Ridge offers a variety of shops and is the home of the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. The 3 1⁄2 hours round trip takes you into Tennessee and has a layover in McCaysville for additional shopping. Many of the shops in alpine Helen reflect their Bavarian roots by offering everything from cuckoo clocks to a German meal of schnitzel, sauerbraten and wurst with imported German beer. In both communities the many shops carry regional mountain art and crafts that reflect our heritage as well as antiques, rare books, homemade candy, Georgia foods, mountain-grown wine, day spa services or a unique piece of jewelry.
