Kennedy Creek Resort’s Log Cabins are your “home away from home”. They feature luxurious accommodations complete with gourmet kitchen, dining/living room, two bathrooms, “rocking chair” front porch, screened back porch overlooking a mountain stream in a lush fern forest setting. Cabins have satellite TV with VCR, wood burning fireplace and a gas grill.
Have a large group? We offer 4 Bunk Houses. Our Bunk Houses have 2 twin beds. Access to our Bath House is included.
Our Yurts offers camping – with amenities – otherwise known as Glamping! If you love Glamping, or are curious to try it out, reserve our Yurt.
Stay in a large RV with a full kitchen, a full bath, a master bedroom, 2 large screen TVs (satellite TV) and 2 leather sofas. It has 2 recliners and a kitchen table. Lots of room for 5 -6 people. All the comforts of home in this large RV, but less expensive to rent than a full size cabin.
Park your RV at our resort for 1 night, or up to a month! We have 40 acres of spaces for your self-contained RV. While you are here, you can use our bathhouse for showering, the fire rings for cooking, the picnic tables, and more. The grassy area to park is level ground.
We have a large, level grassy area for tents and campers. Five of the spaces have electrical at the site and are assigned. All other spaces are open: you pick your spot! Use of our full bath house is included in all tent space rentals. Bring your own tent, van or truck to sleep in. Pets are allowed.
In addition to Bunk Houses, we also offer a Dormitory for larger parties. Our Dormitory has 16 twin beds. Access to our Bath House is included.
Just need a bed to sleep in? Went on a long hike and want to crash? We offer Hostel style individual bed rentals in our Dormitory. Our Dormitory has 16 twin beds. Choose any unoccupied bed. Access to our Bath House is included. Electrical outlets are available for charging devices.
General Ben King Tavern
One feature of the resort is The General Ben King Tavern. A lodge style dining room, that features a stone fireplace surrounded with a cozy seating area and game tables. It provides a great place to enjoy friends or make new friends rain or shine. The sunny front deck offers a great place to observe incoming traffic or to relax and gaze over the mountains.
AIRPORTKennedy Creek Resorts’s 2000′ grass runway (UNICOM 122.8) is the highest elevation (2800′ MSL) in the state of Georgia. The runway also doubles as an excellent landing strip for R/C model airplane pilots and triples as a level nighttime platform for astronomy enthusiasts.
