Ever dreamed of running away to finish your novel? Kennedy Creek Resort invites you to escape to the North Georgia Mountains away from the noise and ambient light of the city to a place where lush green fields provide an open canvas and clouds reach down to fuel your creativity.

Here at the Kennedy Creek Resort, we have assembled a group of award-winning authors for an intensive, fun, and relaxing retreat geared toward the serious writer.

Reserve before September 1 and receive 15% off!

The conference offers two full days of events focused on the craft of writing and marketing your finished product. Speakers are experts in their field and include authors, publishers, and marketing experts who will provide the resources to strengthen your craft.

Our workshop authors provide individual critiques of your work in progress. If interested, please read the bio of the author and contact them directly for payment instructions, manuscript delivery requirements, and an appointment time. If critique slots fill, more will be added.

Join us for an author reception on October 2 and stay for workshops designed to help you finish your work in progress. The conference ends Sunday morning with an Open Mic of guests who want to read their work. But why leave on Sunday? While making your reservation, plan on spending another week at the resort pouring everything you learned during the conference into your manuscript.
